s everyone gathered for a fun evening on the water @ Manorbier, the tide was already high @ 5 pm that evening with a slight nip in the air, wind speed was about 7mph (W) with a slight overcast sky.

Looking out to the sea, all relatively calm and inviting.  With everyone kitted up with the appropriate gear, eagerly awaiting, the enthusiastic members of all ages wait along the shoreline until everyone is ready and the instructors are in the water to assist collaboratively.

Heading to the right of Manorbeir towards Swanlake, there was plenty of opportunities to enjoy the swells of gameful waves between rocks and inviting caves to explore within a safe and fabulously organised group with some practising lead bringing the group into a controlled and safe trip forward.

When we then came upon the bay of the beautiful Swanlake, flanked on both sides by impressive sandstone crags, there was time to practise some stern rudder and surfing techniques and take in the cool air and seemingly, the nip in the air that was first experienced had gone and summoned down to a beautiful evening making the paddle out even more delightful.

All in all, an excellent gentle paddle out with all safely returning back to the shore of Manorbier; tired, I'm sure but keen for the next adventure guaranteed.
